I learned the value and importance of not talking a lot. While studying abroad, I learned that verbal communication, while a precious gift, is not always necessary. I also learned that I can live a simpler life. In Europe, people do not seem to as frequently have these Texas sized, huge personalities, massive tracts of land, and... "Was it worthwhile?" Worthwhile is an understatement. I am so lucky to have been able to study in Seville with the people and the host family that I had. I am amazed at how much fun I had and how much I learned. I will always be grateful, I will always love my second home, and of course I have incurable wanderlust. This program ... What didn't I gain from this experience? I learned how to accept and immerse myself into a new culture, speak a new language, navigate cities (without WiFi), be willing to try new things, more about who I am. Study abroad is the most worthwhile thing I did while in college. I feel like it is one of those things that everyone should do, especially the people that feel they don't need to or don't want to. I learned so much about myself, I challenged myself, I explored new places, met new people and improved my Spanish. This is truly a ... A student - Linfield College View Entire Review

It's hard to put it all down in writing, but in short I realized that there's a lot more to this world than the Texas bubble that I've lived in. I learned that we shouldn't take for granted all that the world has to show us, and that if ever offered the opportunity to explore it again, I would take it with no questions asked. Al...
