What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was able to learn Tibetan Buddhist perspectives on mental health through an independent project. I was even able to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The SIT Nepal program was incredible. I left feeling so much more confident in my ability to live abroad, and I had amazing experiences. The program did a great job in immersing me in Tibetan culture and helping me appreciate new perspectives.
