SIT Study Abroad: Argentina - Social Movements and Human Rights

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes, the experience was still worthwhile though it was much more academic than experiential learning which is not as effective. Yes, we discussed very interesting and engaging topics and Argentina does indeed have a rich culture, yet there were no debriefings and this often curbs the learning process. I am more interested in world issues and especially the role of the U.S. in Latin America.
