Lived on a sailboat, absolutely incredible

We cooked all of our own food, tasted amazing, way too many beans and chickpeas

Didn't fully integrate with the local culture we visited

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Though I never needed healthcare, those that did got what they needed

* Safety:

Felt very safe, living on a sailboat and crossing oceans is never fully safe though

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Best experience of my life. Travelled the world on a sailboat

Food was covered by our provisioner. Spent most of my money on food off the boat but not too frequently. Other money was spent on souvenirs

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.

Comments: Learned so much about how to be an operational crew member on a yacht. Learned lots about yacht safety. We were always learning as we were always on the boat. Teachers were extremely prepared.
