It was certainly worthwhile, and was educational in its providing me with strategies for helping others and providing insight into another nation's culture.

Dr. Bernal was able to control our travel, meals and work opportunities very well.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We were in a location in the city that allowed a short drive to work sites and was close to restaurants.

Food was always plentiful and of good quality.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Seeing sights in Santo Domingo and Santiago was great, as was being in the mountains on drives to work sites.

I always felt safe and well equipped to deal with any issues.
