the Middlebury School in Germany offers students a fully immersive academic and cultural experience at one of three distinct program sites. In Potsdam, students study and live alongside German peers while enrolling directly in courses at the Universität Potsdam. Guided by the Middlebury Language Pledge, participants develop advanced German language proficiency through rigorous academics, meaningful engagement with local communities, and daily life conducted entirely in German. With access to the university's full curriculum, students pursue coursework across a wide range of disciplines while gaining firsthand insight into contemporary German society.
