This program offers participants the unique opportunity to substantially improve their Spanish while studying abroad and optionally adding an internship in “off the beaten path” La Coruña, Spain for a summer, semester, or full academic year. This Spanish immersion program offers students the opportunity to learn Spanish and experience true Spanish life in A Coruña, Spain!
Participants will find themselves fully immersed in the culture living in a with Spanish speakers, taking Spanish language classes at the Escuela Universitaria de Relaciones Laborales y Recursos Humanos (ERLAC) with native Spanish speaking professors and interning with Spanish companies. An internship option is available and can be added to either the summer or semester or winter term. You may extend your term through an internship as well, for example study in spring and work the summer!
SUMMER
Take Spanish courses according to your level. Students with intermediate or above Spanish are eligible to add an internship. Internship placements are customized according to the student's career goals.
SEMESTER/ACADEMIC YEAR
During the academic year, choose from a variety of subjects and study alongside Spanish students at the Universidade Da Coruña, in La Coruña, Spain.
The majority of courses, in a variety of fields, are given in the Spanish language.
To help prepare students for this, we offer Spanish language classes and internships during the summer for all levels and beginner to upper-intermediate level classes at the beginning of each semester.
