Lankey: Morocco - French and Arabic Study Abroad Programs

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My decision to go to Morocco was very spontaneous, and it ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made! I wanted to experience other cultures, meet friends from around the world, gain perspective away from my little bubble at home, and Learning Arabic. All of that was achieved and more! Genuinely, from the moment I stepped off the plane and met up with a few of the participants, I knew I was in the right place and that I was going to have a couple of very transformative weeks. One of my favorite places was the Hassan II Mosque. It really represents Moroccan Architecture and culture, and the Jamae El Fna in Marrakesh is a great place to be in. Honestly, it is challenging to see all those beautiful places in weeks but thanks to Lankey organization I was able to visit more than 5 cities and totally exploring them. I also loved the gorgeous scenery of the Mountains, the beaches of Assilah, and the waterfalls. Indeed, I lived in a beautiful Apartment in Rabat. I liked how everything I needed was next to me and I was able to walk safely without feeling uncomfortable. For the language Program, my Arabic teacher was very kind and generous with me. She tried her best to make me learn without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to her efforts, my Arabic improves and, now, I can listen and write much easier. I hope to come back until I will be fluent in Arabic. If you are on the fence, you should do the program!! You will have the best time and make memories you will never ever forget.
