Lankey: Morocco - French and Arabic Study Abroad Programs
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I had wanted to go to Morocco for years and when I was finally given the opportunity, I wanted to explore the depth of the country in an environment that was safer than traveling alone and gave me the benefits of a group. This program met all of my expectations and surpassed them. Each day is filled with group activities and the chance to explore individually, so you can make friends but also give yourself a chance to grow outside of the group. Our leader was amazing, she was always fun and filled with excitement about our tour, and inspired me to keep traveling. I cannot believe we spent an entire month over there, we did so much. Each day was amazing, and I constantly reference my time with Lankey when people ask how my journey abroad was. This program is perfect for those who wish to grow and explore, for it gives you all the opportunities to do so, while making friends, and learning in-depth about a new culture. I cannot give a higher recommendation. Also good to mention the French immersion Program experience. it was perfect. I've procrastinated for months to learn French on my own but, with Lankey, I was able to improve my level in a short time. The teacher, courses, and conversations were way too better than I expected. I went to my classes with enthusiasm and my teacher has a big impact on it. when I came back home, my friends and family got surprised about my French level. If you want to have a great experience that you will remember for the rest of your life I cannot give a higher recommendation than Lankey. with this program I was able to do it all: learning, traveling, having fun, tasting new food, discovering a new culture, and many more. hope you will get to experience them too.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
