Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I loved my experience in Morocco with Lankey, Their office was always open, and students were constantly stopping by to chat. We traveled to Marrakesh, Sahara, and Chefchaouen! I can proudly say my French has improved greatly since I first arrived in Morocco.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The on-site administrators were very sweet to me. They kept in touch with me and helped to get familiar with the city. Plus, all the trips were very organized and worthy.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I love my housing experience. I chose to live in a downtown apartment. Everything was close to me: the Bars, restaurants, the train station, and the Mall. I really missed my Balcony view with mint tea.

* Food:

All Moroccan foods are special and known, you will definitely fall in love with them. I used to eat Couscous every Friday it has 7 veggies. The Tajine, too, is very unique. without forgetting Bastilla, Hrira (Moroccan soup) and many others!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Moroccan people kiss each other rather than shaking their hands. This was new to me, but I get used to it when my friends explained it. My Moroccan Friends had spoken English or French when we were together to understand and help me to improve my French. I really never felt bored or left out

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Honestly, I did not have any health problems during my stay. I don't think students will have them too.

* Safety:

Since I lived in the Capital of Morocco, the city is very busy and my neighborhood is very known. I had never felt scary rather I enjoy going out alone.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Thanks to Lankey, I had the chance to study and have fun at the same time. I really want to come back again and improve my French Language Level. I can't wait to see my friends too.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I chose the all-inclusive Program, I only paid for my own expense, and it wasn't that high.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? for other expenses I spent around 500DH each week.
