KOKUSAI KORYU KAMOKU (Courses for International Exchange) are among the courses offered to exchange students here at Iwate University. These are courses that students can earn credits for and these credits are also recognized back at their home institution. Japanese language courses for international students are one-credit courses (one 90 min lesson per week) and other courses offered in English or other languages are two credit courses (one 90 min lesson per week). There are other courses in KOKUSAI KORYU KAMOKU offered in Japanese, such as "Japanese Classic Literature in easy Japanese" and "Independent Studies". These are only available to exchange students.
