I gained a better perspective on the world while abroad, I became more responsible and independent as an individual and now don't have to rely on others as much. It was absolutely worthwhile and gave me so many great memories. - Hamilton College View Entire Review

I learned a lot from my classes and I picked up some of the Australian lingo from the students I lived with. Having lived in Sydney and having had countless conversations about the country, culture, and politics, I've come to the conclusion that it's remarkably similar to California. Yes, it was absolutely worthwhile! - Brandeis University View Entire Review

My time abroad was most definitely a worthwhile experience and a semester that is unparalleled to any that I ever imagined I would have during college. My semester abroad led me to have to learn how best to balance a rigorous academic schedule, living independently, as well as my desire to travel and explore all that Sydney and ... - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I can't emphasize enough how worthwhile this experience was. I was able to meet all sorts of people from all corners of the world and learn about their views, perspectives, and ideas. Too many to count. For example, university systems in other countries. I met students who went to university and still had money (they made themse... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I gained a sense of independence from my abroad experience and learned exactly how much our world has to offer. I saw and experienced things that I would never have even thought of doing if I hadn't been abroad ... for example: skydiving, scuba diving and mountain climbing. My experience abroad was 100% worth while. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was completely worthwhile! I believe I learned things that can never be taught in a classroom and gained valuable life experience - Trinity University View Entire Review

Studying abroad was definitely worthwhile. I love to travel and experience new cultures, so this opened my eyes to a new place and the people it holds. I experienced so many new things and stepped out of my comfort zone, such as hiking, scuba diving and swimming under waterfalls. I learned how to be even more independent and liv... - Skidmore College View Entire Review

December 24, 2015 Will Trash Your Gpa
Australia was a really fun time, but unfortunately, I look back on it in a negative light because of the way IFSA Butler handled an academic misunderstanding. It was worthwhile in terms of life experience, but not worth the destruction of my GPA, which I had spent years building just to have IFSA Butler wreck it by stubbornly re... - Wesleyan University View Entire Review

DEFINITELY WORTHWHILE. Grew so much as an individual, felt so alive being able to explore constantly, loved being in a big city but also close to beautiful nature and parks and the ocean, loved living in an international housing building because I now have friends in literally every country that I still talk to and can't wait to... - Butler University View Entire Review

The biggest thing I learned was to be more open and global. Now I want to see other places in the world and I've made friends from all over the world that I want to visit. There are so many cool places to see and you've only got one life to try to see it all. - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I loved the city, I loved the school. The actually IFSA-Butler program I found totally disappointing. I would say if you want to study at Sydney Uni go through a different USA university program. - Tulane University View Entire Review
