Studying abroad changed me forever. I gained personal growth, independence, interpersonal skills, and confidence in myself I did not know I was capable of. I was introduced to a new way of life, new music, new food, new everything- and I loved every second of it. I was so homesick and anxious when I arrived, but I grew through m... - Susquehanna University View Entire Review
100%. I learned how to be completely independent so far away from my normal support system. I was able to fully understand who I am as a person and how to live my best life by doing activities I truly get joy from. I learned all about the Australian laid back lifestyle and got to live next to a beach for nearly half a year. All ... - Gustavus Adolphus College View Entire Review
Australia was the most amazing experience of my life. Living in an apartment in Surfers Paradise was a great place to start "adulating". I gained so much personal growth. I learned how to be independent and strong, and how much I could accomplish if I set my mind to something! I also learned how amazing other cultures are and how excited I am to see more of the word and travel. - Butler University View Entire Review
A whole new appreciation for the culture and people there, as well as countless communication skills and self reliance and confidence. I'd do it again in a heart beat! - Oregon State University View Entire Review
It was definitely worth while. I am more independent than I was before. - Middlebury College View Entire Review
I learned more about myself and became more confident as an individual. I also learned to slow down, calm down, and don't stress if something goes wrong, especially if there is nothing you can do about it. I also got to improve my cooking skills (and my patience) in general. - University of Puget Sound View Entire Review
