Founded in Valparaiso in 1926, this university gives life to the legacy of Valpariso’s visionary entrepreneur, Federico Santa María Carrera, whose dream was to create an institution leading the fields of Engineering, Science and Technology, and contributing to development and human advancement.
It offers different courses to study abroad participants each semester in which the international students attend the same classes as the full-time Chilean students of the university. Students can take an average of four regular courses per semester, based on their academic interests, level of Spanish, and academic experience.
