Fairleigh Dickinson University: Oxfordshire - Semester at Wroxton College

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to appreciate other cultures besides the one I am accustomed to. I learned about how massive the world is and how I should see as much of it as I can. I learned to always be curious and found my passion to explore.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program did an exceptional job acclimating the American students to the British Tutorial System for learning. All of the professors truly wanted to see us succeed, and would always be available to us should we have any questions. This was a academically rigorous semester, but it was very rewarding.

I miss the campus and the faculty every day. There is not a day that goes by where I don’t reminisce with fellow friends who studied abroad at Wroxton.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

They planned activities and trips for us every weekend, free of charge. We went to Paris and Scotland for four days for each city, and they covered all of the travel and hotel expenses.
