About

Focused on Holocaust history and memorials, this interdisciplinary program invites students to engage in multiple genres of Holocaust representation, including film, photography, memoir, fiction, poetry, art, and music. Participants will also explore how the Holocaust or Shoah is remembered and memorialized today. Some of the field trips include Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the Jewish Museum of Berlin, the Topography of Terror (former Gestapo and SS headquarters), and the infamous Wannsee Conference site.

This program is hosted by CEPA - Customized Educational Programs Abroad. CEPA has partnered with many universities and colleges throughout North America as well as Brazil to develop and implement education abroad programs with strong academic and cultural components.
