About

The diversity of food items available from region to region and the celebration of artisanal products tied to location can be seen very clearly in Italy, whose food traditions have continued for centuries and whose artisanal products are well-known worldwide. Students will discover how the Slow Food principles are lived every day and will be able to compare Italian habits and attitudes towards food with American eating habits. Students will be able to see first-hand the cultural importance of food, place, and identity in everyday life.
