CISabroad (Center for International Studies): Florence - Semester in Florence

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I want to move back to Florence. I want to get a job after I graduate and live in Europe. I feel like that is my home and I miss it so much.

I had the best house ever! I got very lucky!!

I cooked mostly since the school did not give us a meal plan besides the 10 lunches a month

I had two trips included, they were nice, however I wish I could have chosen them.

I spoke to my italian friends. Best way to learn a language! Many people did speak english, however I forced them to speak Italian to me!

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Be open minded, and make sure you don't just stick with your roomates. Make friends and be outgoing. Also, I would not travel on all the weekends because than you are not getting the full experience in the country you studied abroad in.
