Worthwhile to experience the Costa Rican culture and learn more about their sustainable practices there but the program itself does not prioritize field studies and site visits throughout the country. - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Looking back, I cannot believe what I did and how much I learned during my study abroad program! We got to travel around Costa Rica for 4 out of 14 weeks, I had a 4 week sustainability internship, I lived with a host family, I took 5 classes, and I had so much fun with the staff and other students. We studied a variety of issu... - University of Maryland - Baltimore County View Entire Review
Do every new thing you can, even if it scares you. You will probably regret not doing it afterward! This program offered so many opportunities to step out of your comfort zone, and it was incredibly rewarding when you did. - University of Minnesota - Twin Cities View Entire Review
I learned to be patient, to take every opportunity that comes at you, to be compassionate and understanding, and to ask questions. - Cornell University View Entire Review

Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I could have made while in college. I absolutely loved my time abroad and would talk anyones ear off about this program. I learned so much more than just academics, and I made friends and memories that will stick with me for a lifetime. - Texas Christian University View Entire Review
I learned more about sustainability and biology during this program than I have ever at my home institution. This program made me want to pursue my interests in environmental sciences - University of Colorado - Boulder View Entire Review
The program was worth it. personally for me the program did not push me outside my comfort zone, but this is dependent upon past international experience. The field trips were by far the best part of the program. We were able to see so much of the country and it makes me want to travel more within my home state/country. I must c... - Pacific Lutheran University View Entire Review
