What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Dramatically improved my Spanish, totally immersed myself in Argentinian culture, handled a long and complicated professor strike with difficulty but gracefully.

Great professors, fascinating classes. I was there for 3-month student and docent strike, unfortunately.

Generally safe, but pickpocketing can be a problem like any big city, and there are some muggings

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Go out! And talk to local students in your classes. Revel in the fact that outside of class, nobody cares about your grammar.
