This engaging and interactive summer study abroad program combines classroom instruction with high profile guest lectures, visits and excursions, as well as practical training elements in the area of goal finding, human rights, mediation, dispute
resolution, social responsibility/peace building, and intercultural negotiation skills to prepare students for their future careers goals to become leaders in a globalized world.
Students are meant to be co-creators of this summer program, not consumers.
The instructors and guest speakers who will lead the program are the facilitators of student growth, not the providers of it.

Statistics

CEPA Foundation Scholarships

Two $1,000 scholarships are available each year to students, who are the first generation in their family studying at a university / college and participating in any CEPA Foundation semester abroad program.

Deadlines:
Spring Semester: October 1 Fall Semester: April 1 Scholarship application deadlines are evaluated independently of program application deadlines and are not influenced by individual program application deadline extensions.

Guidelines/Requirements:
- Open to students from any nationality - Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing - Minimum GPA of 3.0 - Some spoken and written proficiency in the language of the study abroad destination is preferred but not required Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of both academic merit and financial need.
