Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were challenging in that they were all in Spanish, but not really as far as load/technicality of the homework assigned.

They were super helpful when I had to make a Dr.'s visit and actually faster than the process would usually be in the U.S.

very safe city, just don't make silly desicions

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

CEA does a great job equipping their students and providing tons of assistance while abroad. My host mom was fabulous and I really learned Spanish better!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try and plan your travel before you leave, and prioritize! Also look for a credit card without an international transaction fee.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Look for places to listen and practice speaking, the only way to get prepared is by doing so frequently.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? There are so many resources in Spain to help you- anything you could possibly need is available while there, and probably cheaper than the US. Also, the local church is a must!
