Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Great placement, low-stress yet highly informative classes, strong faculty

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very professional, very on top of things

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Just an average dorm with a shared living area, nothing fancy

* Food:

Not a ton of options on campus over the summer, but enough to get by. There's a little grocery store down the street. Food in Ireland is overall much better than food in the U.S.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt more at home in Ireland than I've felt anywhere else in my life.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health issues while over, so I couldn't tell you in this category.

* Safety:

Safe city

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Dublin is expensive. Not as bad as London, but still very expensive

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No

  • The organization
  • The rigor of the internship
  • The friendliness of the staff
* What could be improved?
  • Some placements were much less rigorous than others. As far as I could tell, it was a 50/50 split between great and lackluster.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Don't get a phone plan and definitely don't get a phone plan with Meteor.
