I realized that the world is a much bigger place than previously thought. I would say my traveling and meeting people was more valuable than the classes themselves. Vincent Jansen - Northwestern University View Entire Review
Overall, this was one of the best experiences of my life. I truly felt comfortable in Edinburgh and not only had the freedom of a college student, but also the freedom to travel around Europe and experience new cultures and cities for the first time. I learned so much about Europe, Great Britain and Scotland, and I never anticip... Haley Brown - Suffolk University View Entire Review

Although at points, study abroad can be daunting or even terrifying, this experience has made me more confident, it taught me how to spend time by myself, and helped me become a 'real adult.' A student - Hamilton College View Entire Review
New friends, experience living independently in a different culture. The university and academics were not what I expected or hoped for. A student - Middlebury College View Entire Review
This experience was definitely worthwhile and I recommend studying abroad to all students while in college. Not only did I gain an appreciation and love for another culture, I was exposed to different teaching and learning methods as well as subject perspectives, that I can use in my later studies. Being in Edinburgh was fabulous. The city is beautiful, and so is the rest of Scotland. Highly recommended! Alison W - Tufts University View Entire Review

I learned so much about Scotland and the culture of the UK as a whole. I also made friends I'll probably have for a lifetime. I know I grew up a lot in the atmosphere of a University that treats its students like real adults. And of course, I got to live in Edinburgh! It was definitely worthwhile. Learned about life in Edinburgh and learned a lot about Scottish culture, which btw is awesome. Got some experience living on my own. It was great, but I'm still not sure if it was worth getting so far behind back home John D - Austin College View Entire Review

While we all occupy a particular place in a particular social and cultural setting, we are all quite similar. We all occupy the same planet, breathe the same air, and look up at the same sky. Prior to my departure, I expected to be confronted with significantly different social conventions, cultural barriers, etc... This was... Jordan R - Austin College View Entire Review
