What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned more of the language, I met amazing people from Spain and all across the world. I was able to travel around Europe. I could not imagine a better year!

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Talk talk talk. Seriously even if you are speaking with someone who can speak English, try and speak the local language. Also, listen to music, eavesdrop on people using the language, watch tv.
