About

Students will spend July focused on the coursework at the university learning Business Policy and Strategy, Marketing, Operations Management, Accounting, Finance, Management of Human Resources and Enterprise in the Arts and Culture Industry. This will prepare students for their full-time internship working in any number of roles at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August.

All students will enjoy a four-week internship with an Edinburgh Festival production company facilitating the smooth running of the show. Tasks may include: using social media to promote productions; assisting in the management of venue operations; reading, analyzing and improving scripts; reporting on productions and writing reviews; observing rehearsals and scouting for show to bring to other festivals; participating in educational programs and networking events; working with the press to market shows; and participating in stage-crew and event-monitoring. Internships are guaranteed and dedication is expected of all participants.
