Abroadia: Quito - Latin American Politics

Welcome to Quito, the second highest capital of the world! Quito rich cultural history will offer you the opportunity to improve your Spanish and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of this fascinating country.

In the heart of the Andes and on the lower slopes of the Pichincha volcano, Quito is a modern city that kept its colonial charm. With a mix of influences from Spanish colonial red-tile roofs, balconies, central patios to indigenous art, Quito will have you fall under its charm.

You will study at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, the best university of the country and first fully self-funded private university in Ecuador. The university is recognized for the quality and leadership of its graduates and well known its entreprenarial spirit, scientific and cultural development for Latin America. Our program will offer you a choice of two classes between Spanish language and Latin American Politics (taught in English).
The program will also take you to 2 excursions in Spanish to explore the unique landscapes of Quito area. You will have the amazing opportunity to experience the Ecuadorian lifestyle and live in homestay with a local family to be fully immersed in the culture.
