"I was kinda recovering from a previous abroad experience so I didn't immerse myself in French culture as much as I could've. But I made amazing French friends and bonded with students from other American schools, which alone made it worthwhile. Wish I could've improved my French more, though, as I feel it actually regressed."

"I think that the most valuable experience for me abroad was seeing the design world from another perspective, even though I would not have thought that Denmark would have much of a different view of the world from my own 'western' views. I learned to approach design projects with a different intent, and was shown more sides of e..."

"I had a lot of personal growth, however, I feel a lot of this was due to the level of independence required when constant internet access and language barriers are integral parts of day-to-day life. "Despite the administrative issues that were encountered during my stay, I was able to understand the Chinese education system by being part of it. This allowed me to better understand what it's like to be a student in China which is quite different than being a student at an International school. I also got to spend time getting..."

"I learned that I can survive anywhere! But I think that came from being abroad in general instead of specifically being at Yonsei. It's a basic exchange program but your experience depends on whether or not you're willing to explore."
Chandler Wellesley College
"I loved London and UCL, but not nessecarily for the academics. I had some world class professors, second-to-none, but going from Wellesley (small school, nice profs who care, etc.) to a large public university with your entire grade based off of one paper, was challenging. Being in London was great - I explored so much, took bud..."
