"Yes, I learned a lot about myself, Argentina, and the US that I couldn't have learned otherwise. It was worthwhile! "

"I learned a lot about the culture and history of Austria and Europe, which opened up my world perspective. Being on my own in a foreign country with a foreign language, I learned a lot about myself I was unaware of previously. It helped me build confidence and create my own opinions. It is hard to explain what I gained from stud..."

"It was definitely worthwhile to better understand Russian culture and Russian language. Also, you will never understand Russian without using it in Russia, and this is one of the least expensive programs available to spend a semester in Russia. "

"I feel like I grew so much during my 5 1/2 months here. I'm so much more independent and self-sufficient now, and I don't feel like I need to rely on other people to help make my decisions for me. I can solve my own problems and take care of myself. I didn't like that the foreign relations offices here were so hands-off but it r..."

"Absolute worthwhile. There will always be minor complaints, but the people I met and the experiences I had far outweighed these. I feel way more culturally aware, in a way one can only be after experiencing another culture for an extended period of time. I have always wanted to spend more time learning in Europe, and this pro..."

"It was completely worthwhile. I loved Switzerland and it was great, however I would not necessarily go back because of my background in French and I was in the Italian speaking part of the country."

"I went to Bulgaria knowing almost nothing about the country, culture, language, etc..... I had no idea what to expect. Even though there were some challenges with the administration and program details, I loved the freedom I had to explore the city. Veliko Tarnovo is absolutely beautiful and very affordable. I got to explore the..."

"I gained a new knowledge on how to interact with several people outside my personal culture. And I gained a skill of true independence. I had to cook for myself, book hostels and travel by myself, set up doctor appointments, and figure out new customs with no help. I left this experience with an extreme confidence boost in my ow..."
