"I learned that I can survive a lot of situations, and how to deal with people with different personalities. I also learned a lot about Art and Culture, language, and themes that are common to all people "
Rachael P The University of Texas at Austin
"Spending more than a few months in a foreign country is always worthwhile even if you don't get your credits transferred or you lose money, etc. My above rating is that of my experience with the study abroad program at UT, which actually did little to facilitate or enrich my study abroad experience."
Jennifer L The University of Texas at Austin
"For my major, I think it would have been better for me to go straight into the LCF study abroad program than through Arcadia. I have to take a class that I didn't need and I only used Arcadia for the internship which I could have done myself."

"Research experience, which was worthwhile and very beneficial. "
jihane.bergaoui The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned and experienced a few new things about the culture, history, and politics there, however most of the study abroad was a waste. Except for the CIEE led trips, I feel I did not learn much about the culture because everything we did was with the other American students and the classes were useless."
Bethany W The University of Texas at Austin
"Gained language skills-it was worthwhile. "
liz.harroun The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned to be more independent, more careful with budgets, how to get used to a new environment faster, how to travel more efficiently, gained more recipes, met people from all over the world and made many international friends."
A student The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned a lot from getting to travel all over Europe. It was a great experience but I would have picked a different university to do this through if I were to go again. "
A student The University of Texas at Austin
"I feel I've wasted 6 months on a program that taught me absolutely nothing that was promised by IFSA-Butler."
Athena E The University of Texas at Austin
"I'm glad I did it for the sole reason that I would have always regretted not doing it. Studying abroad did nothing for me except make me truly appreciate my life in the US. I'm so glad to be back and I will never go on a CIEE program again. Please do not contact me regarding these comments (I'm assuming that they're linked to..."
Laura A The University of Texas at Austin
"No, it set me behind academically and I was extremely unimpressed and disappointed. It has not changed much of my future plans. "
Geera P The University of Texas at Austin
"It was personally not worthwhile for me because the workload was so excessive that I barely had time to experience the local culture of where I was."
