"The trip was one of if not the most important experience of my life. Beyond seeing new places, making new friends, and speaking a new language, I gained a new self-awareness during my time abroad. By constantly pushing and testing myself in what I could do, I feel like I have returned an adult with the emotional, physical, menta..."

"My time in Argentina with Sol Education was a life changing experience. Between the people I met, the SOL directors, my host family, the daily activities within the city, and the weekend excursions I couldn't have imagined a better way to study abroad. Living within the culture by staying with a host family and taking university..."

"more Spanish skills, irreplaceable friends, travel experience"
A student The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned more about international cooperation that anywhere else. I learned history and I learned local stories. I learned about the political system and now know it like the back of my hand. It was more than worthwhile. I became a very different person in the best of ways because of this program and I would not change it for a..."

"A million times yes. I learned so much. I learned about different cultures. I learned so much about myself by being away from everything that I am familiar with. You make so many great friends that you will forever have in your life. "
Devyn D The University of Texas at Austin
"I gained a number of things from this experience. In fact, here is a little something I wrote about my experience that pretty much sums it up: I gained an amazing internship experience with an amazing boss. I gained great friends that I am staying in touch with now. I gained a new perspective on life as a whole- which ..."

Billy Y The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned so much about the new culture, about appreciating differences among people. One way of doing things is not always the correct way. History needs to be looked through a critical lens, and I also learned there are individuals who just cant take the cultural shock. Its all about going with the flow and learning as much as..."
A student The University of Texas at Austin
"Yes! It was very worthwhile. It was challenging, but that is what I signed up for. Everyday I had the opportunity to learn something new and I took advantage of that. My cultural experience impacted how I view Americans. I didn't realize how narcissistic we really are. We aren't the only Americans out there. Learning this made..."
