"I learned that you should do hours if not days of research before coming to another country, and if it is your last semester or even just your senior years, it is best to wait. You can always study abroad after you graduate or do internships. "

"Research was a lot of fun, but I really experienced an uncaring attitude from the student housing. "I think it can only be a valuable experience to be put outside of your comfort zone in an unfamiliar place, and be able to become accustomed to new settings and people, with a working understanding of the cultures and history which shapes it. I may not remember the coursework or the frustrations, but I know I'll remember things like standing 5 feet away from howler monkeys, talking with my roommate, and laughing with my host family. I learned so much abou..."

"The decision to study abroad was, for me, sort of an agonizing decision. I'm sure lots of people decide when and where they're going to study abroad before they even pick their college, but in my case, I barely got my forms submitted in time because I was debating it for so long. Part of the issue for me is that I'm an athlete (..."
