""Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves ... Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you wil..."

"I am happy that I chose to go to Prague because I was somewhat naive to its eastern European aspect and the environment that I lived in there definitely gives me a totally different perspective on America and our history. If I had to reconsider what program I would go on, I think that I would have also looked into Copenhagen or ..."

"I learned a lot more about being independent and living alone in a large city (which I'd never done before). I feel very thankful to have had the opportunity to balance my three and a half years in rural Vermont with five months in a cosmopolitan European city. It broadened my outlook, and gives me the confidence to enter my sen..."

Going abroad and going to India specifically was one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but if you handed me a plane ticket back there I would go in a heartbeat. "I was able to reconnect in some ways with my Japanese identity and am generally more comfortable with living in Japan now. Being in a city also helped me to explore other parts of my identity and open up more. I also really needed a mental health break from my home institution so being able to go abroad was a lifesaver."
A student Middlebury College
"Absolutely worthwhile; I learned so much about myself, the places I was, and the subject matter of the program - however, this was largely due to my own personal drive/choices and the amazing students I was surrounded by rather than program-specific classroom time."
A student Middlebury College
"That I would love to spend more time in Spain and across Europe."
A student Middlebury College

A student Middlebury College
"I learned language skills and coexistence skills. I also strengthened my sense of independence and ability to go out and interact with strangers. "
