"Studying abroad changed my life and my personal outlook. I came out of it feeling empowered, motivated, relaxed, and full of love. My program had many flaws, and while I wouldn't recommend that anyone choose it in the future, I wouldn't take back any of the choices that I made because my experience was rich and eye-opening and I..."

"YES. I have a much better understanding of who I am/want to be in a global context. I met tons of professionals in my field as well as Egyptians with whom I share many interests. I got an opportunity to visit a place not many outsiders see, and met 11 very interesting and dedicated students."

"My time abroad did not radically change my perspective, it made me one-hundred times more comfortable with myself, my interests, and my abilities. I met the love of life and two friends who are without-a-doubt, lifelong. Dublin is a charming city with many treasures waiting to be found. Sign up for the lecool.com newsletter for ..."

"I gained so much intercultural fluency, and made so much progress in my french language skills (which were already decent). Everyday was an adventure, so yes worthwhile to put it lightly. By the end, the way I saw myself and my future had completely changed. I understand the importance of education overseas, and there's no doubt..."

"I learned so much from studying abroad in Vietnam! I learned a lot about Vietnamese culture, family values, the economy, gender norms, education systems, food production, environmental policies, and international relations. Besides what I learned in the classroom and through experiential learning, I learned to be more independen..."

"It sounds really cheesy and cliche, but I really feel that I found myself while abroad. I remember hearing and reading this phrase a lot before I left, and thinking that it was just another one of those things that everyone said because it sounded good. However, I know what they mean now. There is no real concrete way of explain..."

"I became more independent. I couldn't always rely on others. I made it a point to step out of my comfort zone and I made great friends and have amazing experiences because of it. I highly highly recommend DIS for studying abroad! "

"Yes, I gained a much-needed perspective of the role played by the US in Latin America, and the important and tragic history of a nation under dictatorship that is still recovering. Made great friends on the program, a few close contacts in Chile, and all in all had a wonderful time. "
