"I went into the IES Vienna program to learn more about myself, my own artistic identity as a composer and my personal needs as a human being. I learned that so much of what I value in life stems beyond just my career goals, and that there is an entire world of people, places, and things to be explored. My joy came from the const..."

"Very much worthwhile, I gained way more than I expected. Each passing day was like a treat; an opportunity to learn something new and see something I've never seen before. "I learned that most young people in the United States are very unaware of the world around us and the international and intranational events taking place. I think that I have become much more invested in understanding events outside of the bubble I have created for myself. I definitely believe that it was worthwhile. "

"If you're looking for a university town full of energy, excitement, and new experiences, Salamanca is the city for you! It is big enough and diverse enough for self-discovery and gaining independence, but still gives you the small home town feeling when you cross paths with familiar faces on a daily basis. You can also walk ever..."

"Study abroad affected almost every aspect of my life. Academically, being abroad allowed me to learn in more ways than just in the classroom. In fact, I would claim that I learned more outside of the classroom. Because of this, I think the concept of learning, rather than just going through my classes to get good grades, was r..."

"I gained a new outlook on life. It's so hard to explain, but basically after seeing how different things are in Europe, I've acquired somewhat of a distaste for certain things about America. I won't delve into those because you'll certainly form your own opinions after your experience, but I will dwell on how different I do feel..."
