"This experience reinforced my desire to become a diplomat or a representative for the U.S. in Europe. In addition, Germany definitely increased my interest in immigration issues. In fact, I hope to return to Germany soon, to continue to study German identity and immigration. "
Juan J Occidental College
"I found a new home halfway across the world. It helped me increase my independence and learn about the world from a perspective similar to and yet very different from the American way of life. It's a mix of the familiar and the strange and that is what drew me to Australia in the first place. I defintely plan to go back somed..."

"Studying abroad was definitely fun, but I wouldn't really coin it as a life changing experience. Honestly it really just felt like a glorified vacation. It was a blast, don't get me wrong, but the University was easy, and I didn't really face too many great challenges that I had to overcome."

"Yes, it was definitely worthwhile. I tried to stay in Freiburg as much as possible, since i didn't want to spend money on too much travel, but i did get to go to so many places and understand the culture better. At the end of the trip, I had set up a meeting with an 8th grade class an hour from Freiburg in the Black Forest, and ..."
