YFU is a homestay experience where you will live with a carefully selected host family who has agreed to open their home and their hearts to you providing room, board, and a caring home. Family is a huge part of Argentinean culture - extended family usually lives nearby, and families gather regularly to spend time together. Outside of attending school, you'll have no shortage of things to do! Soccer (futbol) is the country's most popular sport, but you can enjoy all types of sports, such as rugby, tennis, volleyball, basketball, or field hockey.From the Andes Cordillera to the Iguazu Falls, Argentina is a land big enough to fascinate you endlessly, yet intimate enough to make you love it forever. Get a taste of local customs by learning Argentina's most popular dance the tango. Learn Spanish and explore the culture, history, people, and landscapes of this amazing country.
