Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The school much more laid back than the American education system. Professors cared about your learning, but also understood you were here to get out and experience the things around you.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Our program director was amazing! She became our mom while in Greece and was always there when we needed her.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The location was excellent. We live right next to the school in a very good neighborhood that was close to many of the major sites in Athens. Things like kitchenware and sheets were all provided. The only complaint was that many things broke and would stop working, so we had to make many maintenance requests.

* Food:

Greek food is delicious, but eating out all the time became expensive. There was a fresh market nearby that we enjoyed going to get our produce and other food items.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The program plans two excursion throughout Greece and they were very insightful and fun.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Athens is a very safe city and the location of the school is in a very nice part of town. The worst thing you have to worry about is pick-pocketing.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
