I had an amazing time and made some lifelong friends. I will never forget my time abroad and how it caused me to grow as a person.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Some of the grading styles were very different from what I was used to and hard to adjust to in such a short time.

On-site administration of your program

The resident director of my program was amazing and so helpful when I ran into any problems. She became our good friend and everyone in my program thought she way above and beyond.

My host family made great dinners and provided breakfast.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I made some great friends on my program and loved going to The Hague with my program.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Brussels was a pretty safe city that I felt comfortable walking around in. My home university helped to provide international healthcare coverage.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Made a budget and try and stick with it. Make sure to include travel money for the weekends.
