I feel that I gained a broader perspective on the issues related to Haiti and how they are connected to my own country. Because of the things that I learned on this trip I have been able to develop better insight on the direction that I need to take with my education so that I can eventually return to Haiti and be an effective force for good. This trip was definitely worth while.

This course was intense. We used every minute we had in reading, learning, and discussion. We attended several lectures a day and participated in many cultural interaction activities that were beneficial to our mission as students. |

The Professors leading our group did an excellent job of making sure we got the most out of our experience. The director of the facility where we stayed was very hospitable and took care of us very well. |

I loved the food! We were fed most of our meals at the house we stayed at and the food was amazing. |

Our activities were based around social and cultural integration. I had a lot of fun and learned so much about the Haitian people and culture. |
