Being abroad completely changed my perspective on how I view the world, and traveling all over Europe and being a non-English speaking city has given me the confidence to do anything.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? If I wasn't traveling that week, it was usually between $70 and $90 a week.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Just talk with the Italian students, and don't be afraid to talk with the locals when you're exploring the city. They really appreciate when you try to speak the language because most don't know how to speak English
