Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Plenty of field trips and social/cultural events. Festivals, sight seeing trips and dinners out at local eateries were all included in my program and all of them were superb.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? More than I expected to. Study abroad is EXPENSIVE. Worth it, but expensive. Whatever you were planning for your budget, MAKE IT MORE, you won't be sorry.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Remember that when it comes to international trips/programs and your budget, that it will be a marathon of spending, not a sprint. You have to be disciplined and not spend most of your money in the early part of your trip. This is a BIG mistake. Spread it out and KEEP TRACK of your spending.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
