I gained a lot from the experience, I think, both academically and personally. I gained a lot of knowledge in the Spanish language- how to speak it, understanding it, and knowing how it operates in comparison to the english language. It's really interesting (and really hard!). Having never traveled outside of the U.S before and ... - University of Maine - Orono View Entire Review

I loved the location but didn't love USAC. I could have benefitted from less American Students and more local integration, or international which would have forced me to use the language more, but the location was absolutely Amazing. - University of Maine at Orono View Entire Review

I am very thankful I was able to study in Torino, Italy for the two semesters I was there. It gave me confidence and a belief in myself that I can do anything I set my mind too. It taught my about my father's side of the family and see where they came from. My parents came for the last two weeks I was in country. I was able to s... - University of Nevada - Reno View Entire Review

Studying abroad in San Sebastian Spain was one of the best decisions I have made. USAC helped set me up with an amazing family and classes geared toward my personality and language level. About

The San Sebastián program opens an academic window on the Spanish and Basque people, introducing you to the rich diversity of Spain and offering a truly multicultural experience. San Sebastián has the highest level of bilingualism of any of the area's cities: all of its inhabitants speak Spanish, and one third speak Basque as well. In addition to American students, European students also participate in the San Sebastián program. This program is ideal for students interested in Spanish or Basque Studies. Our intensive language approach allows you to complete up to two years of university language coursework in only one semester. The language courses can be complemented by our electives in related areas such as history, literature, culture, and art. Many of these elective courses are shared by local Spanish students, offering you a unique opportunity for cultural integration.
