About

Munich is a showcase of sustainable planning and design. This program offers two integrated seminars on sustainable architecture and design that give students insight into the principles of high-comfort/low-energy architecture. The two courses are taught so that classroom-style teaching, case studies, and related field trips offer the chance to study examples of sustainable design on both a theoretical and an applied level. Students experience alternative models of public space, transport, urban planning and mixed-use developments as well as learn about different building technologies, techniques and materials.
