What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I really enjoyed studying business at USYD to understand Australia and the greater Asia-Pacific region within the context of my degree. I also loved getting to meet both local and international students and share our different experiences/perspectives. The study abroad program was definitely worthwhile!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I thought the classes were a great mix of projects, individual assignments and exams. The professors were very helpful and knowledgable about their field. I felt it was just challenging enough without being overwhelming.

The study abroad team were excellent and were great for any questions and providing resources.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

N/A (virtual exchange student) but it looked amazing!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Since the program was virtual there wasn't quite the complete integration into Australian culture/society. However, the study abroad team did a great job at creating Australian themed social events and even provided Australian snacks for study abroad students to try together (virtually).

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

N/A (virtual exchange student). Health insurance is required for in-person study abroad students. There was frequent communication about the status of COVID-19 I Australia and the health/safety measures put in place for students.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
