I learned: Data Science in Buisness, Design Thnking and Applied Project Management and what studying at the USYD is like. It was definitely worth it.

These were areas of my interest and the content of the units met my expectations, I learned a lot and it was very well organised.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to get a scholarship. This made it much easier for me.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Have it in school and under-/postgraduate programme as much as possible, speak every day, watch movies and read books in this language. Talk to native spearkers (not to other learners as they make mistakes).

  • Creation of groups for group work
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That as a Western student you should not work with Chinese (people from Hong Kong excluded) as it is a disaster. If you are placed in a group with them, you should immediately ask to switch to students from Australia or other Western countries.
