Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Did not expect to pay for internet initially while in Australia. I also did not eat out much, since everything in Sydney is very expensive. I did not expect to pay for train transportation to and from my internship, which was almost $10 everyday for an unpaid position. I wish Tulane gave us "student concession" which all international exchange students had, which gave students a discount on travel expenses. Tulane's Sydney program is by definition an exchange program, but called themselves study abroad, therefore we did not have concession prices.
