Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

workload was ok. needed to really have good time management skills. can't slack off. only one big test that comprises most of your final grade so need to keep up. grading system is difficult. failed a non-majors art class. passing is considered ok in Australia, whereas a pass is not so good in America. teachers are not really interested in teaching the material- this attitude is evident in the way teachers lecture; some dont even show up to class. classmates are rude and talk during the entire lecture. good thing was that all lectures were recorded.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

easy to talk to advisors. fast responses.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

unilodge. great place. full of other students. clean for the most part. safe. close to campus and city!

i liked it a lot. read above

* Food:

so many to choose froM! i love the multicultural aspect of the city

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

so many events going on in the city almost every weekend! won't get bored

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

no copay to visit medical doctor on campus. wonderful.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? no all were necessary. australia is just an expensive country.

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
