Amazing friends and outdoor adventures Past Review

University of Otago, New Zealand: Study Abroad Programme

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was great to get a new perspective on my major and be able to live in an environment very different from Wellesley. I think I gained a new sense of independence and really benefitted from meeting many new people and traveling around New Zealand. The hiking around South Island is pretty accessible from Dunedin and made for many awesome weekends. It was definitely worthwhile!

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
