University of Northern Iowa: Tanzania - UNI Ultimate Field Experience in Tanzania

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
While in Tanzania, I learned so much about the culture: the way they eat, talk, dress, and just carry on with their daily lives. Working at Bashay Primary School was an amazing experience. Seeing the kids' joy in learning reaffirmed my wish to be a teacher.
